If you're considering hosting a private party here, we're thrilled you're thinking of us. You’ll find helpful information and some guidelines to ensure we’re the right fit for your celebration. Once you’ve had a read through, we’d love to hear from you. Send us an enquiry with your preferred date, number of guests, and any initial ideas, and we’ll get back to you with availability and next steps.

    Our private dining experience is designed for small gatherings. Whether it’s a special birthday, a team dinner, or a long-overdue reunion, we aim to create something personal and memorable.

    Outdoor Dining
    In warmer months, we offer private dinners outside, under our woodsman’s awning - rustic & relaxed.

    ▸ Evening curfew: 10:30pm

    Want to Extend the Evening?

    You’re welcome to upgrade your booking to include use of The Drawing Room, an atmospheric space perfect for daytime activities, pre-dinner drinks or post-dinner entertainment.

    • Use of this room comes with an additional fee of £400

    • Extended curfew: 1:00am

    • Dinner seating available here for up to 20 guests

  • We take pride in offering a flexible approach to catering, with packages to suit all tastes and budgets. Everything we make is rooted in our farm-to-table ethos, using seasonal and homegrown ingredients.

    Chef’s Choice (Our Favourite)

    Let us take the lead.
    You tell us your dietary requirements, allergies, likes and dislikes, and we’ll create a bespoke menu in our signature style.
    We’ll finalise the menu with you one week before your event, so you’ll have time to print menus, if you wish.

    Themed Packages

    These set menus are inspired by cuisines from around the world and are designed to be shared and social. They’re especially well suited for groups with a range of dietary needs, as there’s usually something for everyone on the table.

    Some popular themes include:

    • Thali – A colourful and vibrant South Asian-inspired feast with a variety of curries, salads, chutneys, rice & breads

    • Mezze – A generous Middle Eastern-style spread of dips, breads, tagine and salads

    • Seasonal Banquets – Sharing dishes that reflect the time of year

    Private Chef Experience

    For those looking for something truly personal, we offer a private chef service.
    This includes close collaboration with our team to build a custom menu that reflects your vision and event style.

    Buffet-Style Catering (Available on Request)

    For more informal daytime gatherings, such as wakes, baby showers, or naming ceremonies, we offer buffet-style catering to be enjoyed in The Drawing Room.

    These spreads are beautifully laid out and designed for relaxed grazing.
    Menus can include a selection of seasonal salads, savoury pastries, cakes, sandwiches, and warm dishes depending on your needs.

    If you're planning something unique, just let us know. We’re happy to tailor the offering to suit your occasion.

  • We’re happy to work with you to make your event unique.

    • Use of external vendors is welcome (think florists, stylists, musicians, etc.)

    • External bar or cocktail services are permitted

    • External catering is allowed only as a supplement to an in-house menu of your choice

    If you’re unsure, just ask - we’re happy to advise on what works well in the space.

  • To help us preserve the atmosphere and integrity of our space:

    • Decorations are welcome, but you or your vendors must remove all décor at the end of the event

    • No glitter, table confetti, or single-use plastic - we’re serious about this one

    • We operate BYOB, so feel free to bring your own wine, beer, or spirits. Our package prices only include the use of glassware during your meal, any additional glassware can be hired for an additional cost

    • Ashlack is our family home so please be respectful. You have only hired the rooms outlined in your booking contract. Whilst it’s tempting to explore the wider house, please refrain from doing so. If we have time, we’re always happy to give a tour.

  • We have 2 bedrooms available for overnight stays, more information will be provided at the time of enquiry.

  • We are currently taking enquiries for May 2026 onwards.
